Reiki Instructions

Session Time Instructions:
For standard Reiki sessions, you will receive a phone call at your scheduled start time to briefly discuss your intention and address any questions before the session begins. Please ensure you provide your best contact number when submitting your request and be available at your scheduled time. A 10-minute grace period is provided at the start of your session. If we are unable to reach you within that time, the session will be canceled in accordance with our cancellation policy. Lunch Special and Future Reiki Support sessions are fully contactless with no phone call included. Lunch Special includes a follow-up email within 24 hours. Future Reiki Support does not include a follow-up email.

The finest aspect of a distance Reiki session is that it allows both of us to unwind in the comfort of our own homes. Please relax and carry out the following:
What to do before your Reiki session:
​Distance Reiki allows you to relax in the comfort of your own space. For the best experience, consider the following:

• Silence electronic devices to minimize distractions after the initial call.
• Wear loose, comfortable clothing.
• Set a gentle timer for the session length so you know when it concludes.
• Eat lightly beforehand and stay hydrated. Avoid large meals immediately before your session.
• Avoid recreational drugs and alcohol for 24 hours before and after your session. Continue prescribed medications as directed by your healthcare provider.
• Lie down comfortably with arms relaxed at your sides. Avoid crossing your legs.
• Keep a blanket nearby if you tend to get cold.
Simply relax and allow yourself to receive. There is nothing you need to “do.” Thoughts may arise; gently let them pass.

After Session Instructions:

When the session concludes:

Take a few slow, grounding breaths before getting up.

Drink water to support integration. Allow yourself quiet reflection, journaling, or gentle movement if desired.

Reiki may continue to integrate after the session. Some clients report feeling calm, grounded, emotional, or more tired than usual. Others may notice subtle shifts over the following days. Experiences vary.

A session summary email will be sent within 24 hours.
